The Competition Law area provides legal counsel in defending companies accused of anti-competitive practices before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), including negotiating leniency agreements and cease-and-desist commitments with the antitrust authority, as well as notifying and approving mergers and acquisitions. It also develops and implements customized compliance programs for clients to prevent violations of current antitrust regulations in the country.
